Your Morning drip is the radio Morning Show that Portland has been missing for a long time. a hip hop morning show made by black portlanders for Portland. “Morning should be dope” is the motto and we are going to make sure it happens.

The Idea
Your Morning Drip came about from the longing to connect to other individuals during the Covid-19 pandemic. After months of little to no human contact, the idea of community became more and more important. For many Portlanders, Deadstock Coffee serves as a community space that mimics the feel and conversations you would find in a Black barbershop, although all walks of life are welcomed. We wanted to bring that feeling to your FM dial, adding a twist to your morning radio experience.
What’s the Plan
Our goal is to build community, and provide more spaces for people like us to flourish and connect. we have a lot of ideas and YMD will be the platform to make them come true. more so, we want to control our narrative, syndicated radio is not the answer for morning radio in Portland… we can do better and Portland deserves better.
Our narrative should be led by us. our narrative should be told by us.

Ian Williams aka Eeeweezie is the owner of deadstock Coffee, a Sneaker Head and once upon a time a shoe developer for nike. if you don’t know eeeweezie look him up he is a legend a in these Chinatown streets. a pillar in the coffee and sneaker game.
